Emma introduces orthopaedic safety shoes

In early 2016, Emma Safety Footwear will launch a range of orthopaedic safety shoes suitable for employees who need to wear certified safety footwear (standard EN ISO 20345:2011 category S3 HRO SRC).

In November 2015 a sneak preview meeting took place for about fifteen leading OSE (Orthopaedic Shoe Engineering) companies in the Netherlands. These OSE companies will measure up their customers and actively offer Emma safety shoes. These OSE companies will also support Emma dealers with delivering this special Emma shoe to end-users.

Emma is introducing the following models:

PAUL ORTHO & PATRICK ORTHO

NORDIC ORTHO & NESTOR ORTHO

For this project Emma is working together with OSK Schoentechniek in Dongen, specialising in producing artisanal orthopaedic customised work shoes. The Emma orthopaedic safety shoe is produced according to a flexible method, guaranteeing perfect dimensioning and fit.

Emma will also introduce the Hydro-Tec® Ortho Cover product. If orthopaedists and podiatrists use this 'upper layer' when manufacturing inlay soles and supplements and use these for a certified Emma safety shoe, the Emma product certificate will remain valid.

For more information, please contact your account manager or send an email to sales@emmasf.com.
In January 2016 Emma will further inform its dealers about the product range and ordering process, so you can inform your customers in a timely and adequate manner.
